The XE900C Large excavator is earthwork dedicated equipment designed and developed by XCMG forenergy, water conservancy, metallurgy, mining and other industries targetingthe “powerful digging strength, high stability, high reliability andconsiderate creation of values for users”. It adopts a new generation ofadvanced electronic control Cummins QSX15 TDI (turbocharged/direct injection)water-cooled engine subject to the Tier 3 (Euro-Ⅲ)emission standard, able to achieve higher output power and lower fuelconsumption. The three-stage filtration mode well-designed to adapt to thedomestic oil quality has improved the reliability of the engine under harshconditions; the heat balance system of this machine adopted a completely independentcooling system with the radiator and oil cooler placed in parallel domesticallyfor the first time to control the water and hydraulic oil temperature within anideal range and thus achieve optimization of the complete power and fuel use.Besides, the heavy-load excavation and mining demands can be satisfied byvirtue of the well-designed reinforced backhoe working mechanism as well as thesplit-type frame, the central bearing sprocket, the pressure pin crawlerassembly and the lower solid walking mechanism completely protected bycrawlers. The well-designed rear detachable counterweight, central serviceaccess and separated side access, as well as the independent power and pumpchambers, can more safely facilitate detachment, transportation, transferring,service and maintenance. The FOPS-certificated spacious cab and the controlunit in line with the ergonomics design concept can provide operators withexcellent vision and thus ensure the maximum safety, comfortableness andcontrollability.
